Title: Get stuff done with container native workflows for Kubernetes
Description: Jesse Suen and Mukulika Kapas of Intuit present the open source project Argo (originally developed under the Intuit acquired startup, Applatix). The presentation includes an overview, interactive demo of an application workflow within the Kubernetes environment and brief roadmap discussion. Argo is available as an Apache License 2.0 open source project.
What: June 2018 South Bay Kubernetes CI/CD DevOps Meetup
When: Recorded on 2018-06-19
Where: Rubrik Inc. corporate offices, Palo Alto, CA
Abstract:
Containers are fast becoming the preferred way to distribute and run applications and Kubernetes is becoming the default container orchestration engine. In this talk Mukulika and Jesse will walk through the concept and flexibility of a generic Kubernetes-native workflows and DAGs and how they can be used for CI/CD pipelines or complex, highly parallel ML and data processing pipelines. Mukulika will walk through the various components of open source Argo Project and its use cases whereas Jesse will deep dive into Argo architecture and demonstrate a few example workflows.
Presenters:
